John Stoltz

BIO

Born in 1977 in Middletown, N.Y., John Stoltz is an infamous artist, whose striking, pioneering artwork has depicted progressive interpretations as well as personal events. The birth of his talent was introduced during the Skater Revolution of the 1980's and was further influenced by comic book art. It was not long before his interest in animated design work was overtaken by the underground art world where he emerged as an up and coming Graffiti Artist. He experimented with one of the most powerful art movements in recent history and considers the realm of Graffiti to be his greatest inspiration. It provided him with an artistic stage for his gifted ability to transfer raw street art material to mixed media design. His life experiences and artistic explorations have been instrumental to his development as an Urban Artist. His unique style allows him to create beauty on multiple platforms while maintaining an extraordinary balance between optimism and subtle realism.
Early in his career he worked with Superegular Records where he created album covers for Hip Hop Artists signed to the music label. He has successfully sold his unique designs on everything from clothing to furniture, had multiple art gallery expeditions and has performed his live painting technique at music festivals across the region. 8 Hats High Inc. he was commissioned as a clean up artist for four animated commericials. May 2011 The Man Cave on the DIY network with Tony Lagussa, featuring John as the Graffitti Art Professional on set.
Developing logo designs for independent music artists. He continues to travel the music festival circuit displaying his live painting style and he is gathering an artist catalogue of pieces for display. He is an avid volunteer within the arts community.
