Julia BlissBIOTattoo artist by profession; painter, sculpter, taxidermist, and then some on the side.
I would consider it an impossible task to stick with just one medium, there is far too much to explore for that. Our world is full of tools for creation and that is one of my many inspirations. Being raised in a home of animals lead me to my favorite subject matter, my other interests trickled from there. My current work has mainly revolved around the combination of disembodied critters and light hearted pastels; my assumption is that stems from an interest in horror and disney from childhood. Some things never change. I love the freedom of the life I live and the people it's brought to me, I couldn't ask for a more rewarding career. |

Will DayerBIOInformed by the legacy of many great cartoonists of the past, Will Dayer brings cartooning into the fine art realm as a vehicle for approaching raw and grave topics. Each scene, each figure and object, all are composed to appear familiar and humorous. Despite this, under the surface the viewer may also acknowledge the expression of world weary uncertainty, a crushing carnal desire or simply bone shaking anxiety.
Will is a SUNY New Paltz graduate with a lengthy history in showing work in and organizing shows outside of the gallery and high art world. Will is an Albany native and currently trying to get involved in the resurgence of art in and around our state capital. |

One of his first experiences with art-making came about from painting scenes from Thrasher in oil paint, which inspired new ways of making.. As a teenager, he grew an interest in graffiti where he learned countless color-theory based techniques that led him to creating various masterpieces in abandoned spaces. His graffiti practice eventually merged with a fine art practice, where he transferred his exterior works onto canvas. Today, Spire’s art practice combines techniques from 1950s abstract-expressionism, graffiti, and typography . His style incorporates an array of processes which blur infinite fields of texts with thick textures, gestural drips, and text flooded abstractions |
