Denis Barry

BIO

Denis Barry was born on February 19th, 1989 in the Lower Hudson River Valley of New York. His fascination with the artistic process began early on with sculpting clay. As this fascination grew, he was
instilled with the desire to share his creations with others, often giving clay toys to friends and family. His later formative years broadened this artistic inclination to encompass drawing, painting, and even some printmaking techniques such as block printing and silkscreening. During this time he was awarded First in various scholastic art competitions, and was able to pinpoint the successful elements to his body of work. The recurring term used by judges and peers to describe his work was “raw”; and so he used his collegiate years at Dutchess Community College and the Fashion Institute of Technology to refine and balance this almost visceral, “raw”, quality. Under the guidance and tutelage of his professors, he was able to evolve his work to be bigger, bolder, and more raw, all the while remaining balanced, compelling, and approachable.

Lady Pink

BIO

Lady Pink was born in Ecuador, raised in NYC and currently resides in the countryside north of the city. In 1979 she started writing graffiti and soon was well known as the only female capable of competing with the boys in the graffiti subculture. Pink painted subway trains from the years 1979-1985. In 1982 she had a starring role the motion picture "Wild Style". That role and her other significant contributions to graffiti have made her a cult figure in the hip-hop subculture.

While still in high school she was already exhibiting paintings in art galleries, and at the age of 21 had her first solo show at the Moore College of Art. As a leading participant in the rise of graffiti-based art, Lady Pink's canvases have entered important art collections such as those of the Whitney Museum, the MET in New York City, the Brooklyn Museum and the Groningen Museum of Holland. She has established herself in the fine arts world, and her paintings are highly prized by collectors.
Today, Lady Pink continues to create new paintings on canvas that express her unique personal vision. She also shares her 30 years of experience with teens by holding mural workshops and actively lecturing to college students throughout the world.

Grace Lang

BIO

Grace is a mixed media artist based in Brooklyn and upstate New York, where she creates both two and three-dimensional work to tell stories of triumph. Continually preoccupied with the concept of personal “demons,” her work reflects the internal struggles that plague us all, creating visual expressions of those dark little thoughts that are at once frightening and sort of funny. Much of her work stems from the belief that these personal demons are not necessarily enemies but, rather, aspects of our selves that can be utilized for good. The figures in Grace’s drawings, paintings and sculptures are manifestations of her hopes for herself and for creatures everywhere. With each difficult experience, our armor grows and we become the warriors of our own worlds.

STETZ

BIO

Stetz is a self-taught mixed media artist based out of Kingston, NY
Born into a family of perpetual travel, having moved from one place to the next while living out of, in, and on the four C’s since birth: campgrounds, couches, cars, and casinos. This life of constant travel has given Stetz an endless source of inspiration. Opening him up to all forms of art even some he weren't aware of at the time.
In his youth Stetz had developed a speech impediment. Not being able to fully utilize his voice as an expressive outlet it was his aunt, a painter and teacher of the arts at university, who introduced him to the paintbrush shortly before she had passed away. Immediately realizing the pen and brush are a much stronger voice Stetz had begun scribbling on anything in his path. Carrying a marker since the age of 5 would enable him to draw on everything from car windows, to the back of paintings in hotel rooms, to bus benches, all just to kill boredom. Unaware that what he was doing would be the seed that later leads him into a life of illustration, design, publication, photography, videography, graffiti, fine arts, and street expression.
Over the years Stetz has fabricated a fast and loose painting style molded by the traditional arts and refined in the dark of night utilizing the quickness of the spray paint can. This love for creating public works of art has given much momentum to the lifestyle of perpetual travel allowing Stetz to show artworks and paint murals on an international scale.

Jared Tennant

BIO

I am a 25 year old photographer born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. I currently study photo at The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and I am always looking to improve my work and learn something new every day. I started shooting seriously in 2015 - I never took myself seriously enough to think I could actually do it when I was younger and I am extremely proud of what i have learned and what I have accomplished, from then up until now.
My primary goal as a photographer is to document and visually describe the beauty and art that surrounds me. I tend to focus on nostalgia, and the tangible feel of human interaction. I’ve always felt that a photograph should tell a story, which is what I hope I can accomplish in my work.

Lewy V

BIO

Lewy V conducts shading and texture into harmonious extremes of contemporary absurdity. Compelled by the spirit of human expression in its present and ever changing form; Lewy V combines the broad and twinkling shades of modern graphic design with the classical principals of 20th century Cubism and geometric prose of the post-war era. The contrast manifests those lofty themes of vices, sex and the resulting apathy, with the rigid and stark realities of trauma and self-actualization. What is born is a harmony of colorful extremes, wholly commanding a reflection challenging the monotony of everyday life, which Lewy V so expertly distorts into perfect place.
